Overview
Redesigned the email marketing template for two related language-training brands (Language Training Pro and Interpreter Training Programs), moving from a dark, heavily-bordered layout to a lighter, more modern design system. Wrote SEO-optimized blog content and social media copy for weekly posts.

Email Template Redesign

The client wanted to keep their logo, their exisiting color palette—with refinements, and general structure intact, but was looking to modernize the template. I focused on making the template feel a bit cleaner and more current, while increasing legibility and keeping the reader's focus hierarchy intact.

  • Rebuilt the visual system from a dark-background, thick-border layout to a clean, light-background design with card-style content containers.

  • Removed unnecessary symbols and color changes to improve visual hierarchy and continuity.

  • Standardized color palette and typography for better legibility and continuity.

  • Added a persistent top navigation bar (About Us, Programs, Schedule, Student Info, etc.) to give the email a "mini-site" structure and more entry points for readers.

  • Preserved the brand's orange CTA buttons throughout to maintain visual continuity between old and new versions.

Before & After

Before & After

SEO-Optimized Blog Content

Wrote weekly SEO-focused blog posts, usually around 700 to 1500 words, around relevant and researched subjects for customers of each business. Aimed to answer possible questions and concerns as well as provide useful and interesting information. Used keywords, interlinking, tags, and alt text to ensure an excellent user experience and search engine / AI search optimization.

Social Copy

Wrote accompanying social copy to extend the reach of each blog/email topic across platforms, keeping messaging consistent with the email's tone and CTA structure.

Outcome

Unified visual and editorial refresh across two brand email programs, improving readability and stylistic coherence while maintaining brand recognition.
