Café Lumen is an upcoming café concept launching in Paris, built around warmth, community, and quality coffee. For the project's launch phase, I designed a mood-boards to determine creative direction.
I also created a brochure distributed at weekly pop-up stands, translating the concept's vision, roadmap, and ways to get involved. Part of the constraints of the brochure included fitting a large amount of copy into a single-fold, A5-sized template.
The visual concept centers on stained glass as a design language — using the interplay of colored light and geometric form to give the brand a distinctive, atmospheric identity. Warm, color-blocked panels and glasswork-inspired patterns inform the palette and layout, translating a traditional craft into something that reads as contemporary café branding — achievable through accessible materials like window film and paned inserts.
The project is still in-progress and will include more experiential and digital design concepts/materials in the coming months.
